Illustrator techniques...

I was just following a tutorial for illustrator that is all to do with blocking in colour and chopping off overlapping lines and stuff. I couldn't be bothered to do a proper colour job so I just splashed some texture brushes over it in photoshop and left it. This was digitally traced from an existing photo of myself. The next step will be to apply this technique to an original drawing.
